Ingersoll Rand will acquire spacesuit and inflatable module developer ILC Dover from private equity firm New Mountain Capital for at least $2.3 billion in cash in Q2. ILC Dover is working with Sierra Space on Large Integrated Flexible Environment (LIFE) modules for use on commercial space stations and missions to the moon and Mars.

Earth observation camera maker raises $15 million for European expansion

US Moon lander 'permanently' asleep after historic landing: Company

Odysseus, Intuitive Machines’s uncrewed lander that touched down at an odd angle on February 22, failed to respond when it received sunlight again. Operators confirmed that its power system would not be able to turn on its radio. “Odie”, the first commercial lunar lander on the moon, was able to complete several tests before it permanently faded.

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) initiated the LunA-10 study last year into facilitating a thriving lunar economy by 2035. A final report is due by June. DARPA also issued a "Request for Information" for technological capabilities including centralized heating and cooling, lunar prospecting, silicon wafer manufacturing, microbial biomanufacturing, low-gravity resource extraction and a lunar GPS system.
