NASA's LunaRecycle Challenge: Phase 2

California-based startup Aetherflux is testing satellites to collect solar power in space and beam it to Earth via infrared lasers. Led by Robinhood co-founder Baiju Bhatt and funded by investors such as Index Ventures, A16z, New Enterprise Associates and Bill Gate's Breakthrough Energy Ventures, the startup's initial customer is the US Department of Defense, aiming to scale before approaching the broader market.
