Robotically Manipulated Payload Challenge

NASA Flight Opportunities is inviting applicants to propose payloads that can be manipulated by a robotic arm in low Earth orbit, to advance persistent infrastructure for in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing. Up to three winners will each receive up to $500,000 to develop a flight-ready payload and demonstrate it in orbit in early 2028. A virtual information session is available on June 18. Phase 1 deadline August 12, 2026.
